Online ads help video poker to grow. They are one of the main sources to increase traffic on the site and attract new users to the video poker room. But really there is no use of advertisements during the poker game itself. When you play, you don’t want any banners to disturb you. And there are no banners in the video poker rooms – at least I have seen no ads when I was there. Well, this is understandable – a player who enters the room least of all would want to see a picture of a language school or the latest upgraded version of the vacuum cleaner. He came here to play video poker, eventually, not to exit constantly from the annoying banners. So it won’t do anything good.
However, there is a solution of problem. One can place the advertisement on the card back or on the chips. But I doubt the effectiveness of such ads. Players pay no attention at the surrounding and are fully concentrated on the cards. So I don’t think it is worth doing.
